38. Advisory committees

(1) For the purpose of promoting the efficient administration of these regulations, the Director-General may, in writing—
(a) establish any co-ordinating structures the Director-General thinks fit; and
(b) determine the membership and functions of any established structure.

 

(2) Before establishing a structure contemplated in subregulation (1), the Director-General may consult—
(a) the Authority; and
(b) any other organ of state or person the Director-General thinks fit.

 

(3) A structure contemplated in subregulation (1) is to hold the meetings that are necessary for the efficient performance of its functions, but must meet at least once each year.

 

(4) The Director-General may consider any recommendations made by such structures.
