PART 3 - PORTABLE EMERGENCY SET
To be kept in separate portable container fitted with carrying handle.
1 x stethoscope;
1 x sphygmomanometer (aneroid);
2 x intravenous infusion sets;
3 x No. 19 Butterfly infusion needles;
3 x No. 20 Angiocath infusion needles;
5 x 1 litre Ringer's lactate solution;
1 x non-allergic adhesive tape, 25mm x 3m, for needles;
10 x alcohol swabs.

PART 6 - SPECIFICATION OF INSECTICIDES AND MEANS OF APPLICATION
1. Specification
(1) | When used in accordance with instructions for use, which shall be specified on the label affixed to the container of an insecticide spray solution or insecticide power, insecticide formulations— |
(a) | shall be effective for the purpose specified in those instructions; and |
(b) | shall not be harmful to humans. |
(2) | Insecticide formulations— |
(a) | shall be suitable for use in crew and passenger accommodation and in spaces used for the preparation of food; and |
(b) | shall be free from offensive odour and, so far as possible, be non-staining. |
2. | Application |
Insecticide formulations shall be in the form of—
(a) | a spray solution having a flash point not lower than 48,9oC (120oF) and containing an effective concentration of insecticide when applied as a residual spray in accordance with instructions referred to in paragraph (1) above by either— |
(i) | a hand-operated, continuous-action sprayer filled with a nozzle capable of producing a fine mist without course droplets; or |
(ii) | a prepacked press-button pressure cannister; and |
(b) | a powder packed in a dredger that is effective when applied to the body or clothing an infected person in accordance with the instructions referred to in paragraph (1) above. |
