59. Appeal does not suspend decision

(1)An appeal against a decision under either section 57, 57A or 58 does not suspend the decision.

 

(2)Despite subsection (1)—
(a)an appeal in terms of section 57A or 58 against a decision to impose a fine suspends the obligation to pay the fine, pending the outcome of the appeal;
(b)the Labour Court map suspend the operation of the decision, pending the determination of the matter, if there are reasonable grounds for doing so.
