Upper Limits of Total Remuneration Packages Payable to Municipal Managers and Managers Directly Accountable to Municipal Managers

9. Non-perishable cash gratuity

A non-pensionable cash gratuity of—

 

(1)R1,695.00 payable monthly to senior managers earning a total remuneration package below R1,900,000 for the 2022/23 municipal financial year; or

 

(2)R1,818.00 payable monthly to senior managers earning a total remuneration package of R1,900,000 and above for the 2022/23 municipal financial year.

 

(3)The non-pensionable cash gratuity will be backdated from 1 July 2022 and shall be payable until 30 June 2023.
