Updating of Annexures |
(1) | The list of chemicals in Annexure I will be reviewed by the South African DNA at least every second year on the basis of developments in South African laws and under the Rotterdam Convention. |
(2) | The decision to include chemicals in Annexure I or to modify their entry, where appropriate, will be taken without undue delay. |
(3) | If new final regulatory action within the Republic of South Africa bans or severely restricts a chemical, the chemical will be included in Part B of Annexure I. |
(4) | Each chemical listed in Annexure I has been assigned a classification. The Classifications will be revised as necessary in light of any changes made in the World Customs Organization's Harmonised System Nomenclature for the chemicals concerned. |
