117. Port dues, fees and fines to be paid before vessel departs from port

(1) Before a vessel departs from a port, the Authority may require the owner, master or agent of that vessel to pay or provide sufficient security to the satisfaction of the Authority, for all port dues, fees, fines or any other monies owing to the Authority by the vessels owner.

 

(2) Despite anything to the contrary in these rules, the vessel's agent is responsible for all the vessel's debts that remain due to the Authority after the vessel has departed from the port.
