8. Appointment of chief executive officer and other officials of Council

(1)The Council may appoint a chief executive officer and such other officials as it may deem necessary to carry out its functions, on such conditions, including the payment of remuneration and a honorarium, as it may determine.

 

(2)The chief executive officer must perform such functions as may be assigned to him or her by the Council.
