2.29 Products which may not be sold in a Pharmacy

2.29.1 PURPOSE

 

This standard aims to control what can and cannot be offered in pharmacies, irrespective of the category of pharmacy listed in the Council Register.

 

2.29.2 DEFINITIONS/ACRONYMS

 

“ENDS” Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems

 

“ENNDS” Electronic Non-Nicotine Delivery Systems

 

2.29.3 PRODUCTS WHICH MAY NOT BE SOLD IN A PHARMACY

 

The following may not be sold in the pharmacy:

 

(a) arms and ammunition;
(b) fireworks;
(c) tobacco, and tobacco-related products;
(d) Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems (ENDS) and Electronic Non-Nicotine Delivery Systems (ENNDS);
(e) alcohol, except when meant for medicinal purposes; and
(f) gambling services and/or products.
