6. Disposal of Medicines

Medicines destined for destruction should be separated into six types and labelled accordingly:

 

a)Solid dosage form medicines;
b)Ampoules;
c)Liquids, creams and ointments;
d)Aerosols;
e)Radioactive drugs
f)Cytostatic and cytotoxic medicines.
