(1)
| (a) | The dedicated official must, within 3 days, upon notification by the Minister of an appeal received as provided for in regulation 12, submit to the Minister the documents in his or her possession relevant to the findings, together with his or her reasons for the decision. |
| (2) | The Minister may, in order to make a finding regarding an appeal, make any enquiries to make a finding in terms of the Regulations. |
| (3) | The Minister must, within 60 days after receipt of an appeal, make a finding regarding an appeal and inform the aggrieved person in writing of his or her finding. |
| (4) | The Minister or the relevant authority must inform the applicant of the remedies available in terms of the Promotion of Administrative Justice Act, 2000 (Act No. 3 of 2000). |
