PROCLAMATION

by the

President of the Republic of South Africa

Under section 115 of the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (Act No. 4 of 2013), I hereby determine—

(a)	1 July 2020 as the date on which—

(i)	sections 2 to 38;

(ii)	sections 55 to 109;

(iii)

(iv)	section 114(1), (2) and (3); and

(b)	30 June 2021 as the date on which sections 110 and 114(4),

of the said Act shall commence.
