In terms of section 92 of the Public Finance Management Act, 1999 (Act No. 1 of 1999 - the Act), I, Enoch Godongwana, Minister of Finance, hereby exempt Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd from the provisions of the Act, and regulations made in terms thereof, specified in the first column of the table below to the extent and for the period specified in the second and third columns below, respectively.

Section 55(1)(b)(i) of the Act and Treasury Regulation 28.2.1 made in terms of section 76 of the Act

Disclosure of any irregular expenditure and fruitless and wasteful expenditure that occurred during the financial years in the annual report

Financial years 2022/23, 2023/24 and 2024/25.
