PROCLAMATION

by the

President of the Republic of South Africa

In terms of section 2A of the Public Holidays Act, 1994 (Act No. 36 of 1994), I hereby declare the First day of November 2021 as a public holiday throughout the Republic in connection with the holding of local government elections.

Given under my Hand and the Seal of the Republic of South Africa at Johannesburg on this 11 day of October Two Thousand and Twenty One.
