I, Nomsa Dube-Ncube, in my capacity as the Premier of KwaZulu-Natal, in compliance with the provisions of section 6(3)(a) of the Remuneration of Public Office Bearers Act, 1998 (Act No. 20 of 1998), and having regard to the provisions of section 6(1) of the said Act, the stipulations, and upper limits, set by His Excellency, the President, in Proclamation No. 129 of 2023, published in Government Gazette No. 48929 on 10 July 2023, hereby determine that the salaries and allowances of the members contemplated in Column 3 of the Schedule hereto, will be as contemplated in Column 4 of the Schedule hereto, with effect from 1 April 2022.
