| 1. | In terms of section 5(1) of the Remuneration of Public Office Bearers Act, 1998 (Act No. 20 of 1998) (hereafter referred to as "the Act"), I hereby determine that the salaries and allowances of the Traditional Leaders, Members of the National House and Provincial Houses of Traditional Leaders shall be as set out in the Schedule, with effect from 1 April 2025,subject to the provisions of section 5(2) and (4) of the Act, and the terms and conditions set out herein. |
| 2. | Proclamation No.171 published in the Government Gazette No. 50956 of 22 July 2024, is hereby repealed. |
