| (1) | The notice informing each person whose consent to the adoption is required must be given on a form corresponding substantially with Form E of the Annexure. |
| (2) | The notice must be served personally by the sheriff. |
| (3) | Where the person to be served is outside the Republic, the notice must be served as provided for in rule 12. |
| (4) | The response to the notice must be in writing. |
