The legal practitioner is responsible for—
(1) | deciding and ruling whether or not an appeal is to be upheld after consultation with the medical practitioner in respect of appeals contemplated in subregulation 5(2) and a member of civil society in respect of an appeal contemplated in subregulation 5(3); |
(2) | recording the decision of the Independent Tribunal and the reasons therefore; and |
(3) | signing off on the decision and reasons contemplated in subregulation (2). |
