7. Accreditation process

7.1The accreditation process includes—
7.1.1the submission of an application for accreditation to the Regulatory Authority using Form SHRA-A1 with supporting documents;
7.1.2the screening, evaluation and review of the application for accreditation;
7.1.3an application audit, which may include a site audit , to validate the evidence referred to in the submitted documentation;
7.1.4a decision regarding accreditation; and
7.1.5 the issuing of an accreditation certificate should the application be successful.

 

7.2Subject to sub-rule 7.1.2, the institution must be accredited by the Regulatory Authority to offer social housing prior to the commencement, or undertaking, of delivery of any approved project using the capital grant.

 

7.3The Regulatory Authority may extend the process, if the information and documentation required at any stage during the accreditation process is incomplete or if there is a delay in the submission of such information.
