In this Act, unless the context otherwise indicates—

means a committee established under section 9 or 10;
means the South African Council for Social Service Professions established by section 2;

means the Director-General: Welfare;

means a year ending on 31 March;

means an advocate or an attorney;

means the Minister for Welfare and Population Development in the national sphere of government;

in relation to any matter referred to in section 27, means prescribed by rule made under that section, and in relation to any matter referred to in section 28, prescribed by regulation made under the last-mentioned section;
means a board established under section 14A(1);

means a registrar appointed under section 11;
means a regulation made under section 28;
means a rule made under section 27;

means a person registered under section 18;

means a person registered under section 17;
