1. Definitions

In these Regulations

 

"financial year"

means a year starting from 01 April ending 31 March of the following year;

“reference number”

means a unique identifier assigned to any financial transaction that will enable Council to identify the person making a "payment and allocate such payment against that person’s name";

"the Act"

shall mean the Social Service Professions Act, 1978 (Act No 110 of 1978), and any expression to which a meaning has been assigned in the Act shall have such meaning and, unless the context otherwise indicate; and

"the Regulations"

means regulations made in terms of 28 (1) (a) of the Act.
