Chapter II  : Appointment of Staff

4. Application

(1) An applicant shall make an application for appointment to a post referred to in regulation 2 in writing on a form which corresponds substantially with Form 1 of Schedule A and hand it in to the chief executive officer.

 

(2) The application referred to in subregulation (1) shall be accompanied by—
(a) a certified copy of the applicant's identity document;
(b) a completed health questionnaire which corresponds substantially with Form 2 of Schedule A;
(c) certified copies of all educational qualifications of the applicant;
(d) certificates of service or, if not available, an affidavit by the applicant in respect of previous periods of service rendered by him or her;
(e) testimonials, if available, from previous employers of the applicant;
(f) an affidavit setting out the applicant's assets and liabilities; and
(g) the names and addresses of two referances.

 

(3) The chief executive officer shall submit the application referred to in subregulation (1) to the Commission for a recommendation regarding the suitability of the applicant.

 

(4) The chief executive officer shall implement the Commission's recommendation referred to in subregulation (3).
