(1) | The responsibility for matters relating to the combating of pollution mentioned in Marine Notice No. 2 of 1996 issued by the Department on 24 January 1996 as amended from time to time is, for all purposes, regarded as having been assigned to the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism by this Act. |
(2) | The Minister may, with the concurrence of the Minister of Environmental Affairs and Tourism, by notice in the Gazette, amend or repeal this section in accordance with the further development of rationalisation policy. |
