2. Appropriation of additional amount of money to vote of Social Development

An amount of R2.826 billion is hereby appropriated out of the National Revenue Fund for expenditure authorised in terms of section 16(1) of the Public Finance Management Act, 1999 (Act No. 1 of 1999), and attributed to the vote of Social Development in order to fund the extension of the Special COVID-19 Social Relief of Distress Grant, as set out in the Schedule.
