Special Investigating Units And Special Tribunals Act, 1996 (Act No. 74 of 1996)

The seat of the Tribunal shall be at the Booysens Magistrates Court, Johannesburg provided that the Tribunal President may schedule hearings of the Tribunal at any seat of the High Court or Magistrates Court in the Republic for purposes of enhancing access to justice.
