I, Tito Titus Mboweni, Minister of Finance, after consultation with the Minister of Employment and Labour and the Unemployment Insurance Commissioner, hereby—

(a)	withdraw all previous notices issued under section 6(2) of the Unemployment Insurance Contributions Act, 2002 (Act No. 4 of 2002) with effect on 1 June 2021; and

(b)	determine under section 6(2) of that Act that section 6(1) of that Act shall, with effect from 1 June 2021, not apply to so much of the remuneration paid or payable by an employer to an employee during any month, as exceeds R17 712.
