8. Circumstances under which certain persons may be exempted from the performance of Compulsory Community Service

The Minister may, after consultation with the Council, exempt persons from performance of compulsory community service under the following circumstances:

(a)Where a person has obtained veterinary related post graduate qualifications outside the Republic of South Africa;
(b)Where resources for performance of such compulsory community service are not available.
