The amount of bleached peas in a consignment shall be determined as follows:
(a) | Obtain a working sample of 200 g of screened pulses. |
(b) | Remove all suspected bleached kernels by hand. |
(c) | Remove the seed coat from suspected kernels to determine the size of the bleached area on the cotyledons and determine the amount thereof. |
(d) | Such amount represents the amount of bleached pulses in the consignment. |
