6.5.1Industry commits to:

 

6.5.1.1The following criteria will be used in evaluating skills development:

 

6.5.1.1.1Skills development expenditure on black employees as a percentage of the leviable amount/total payroll (whichever amount is applicable), with the target set at 1% of the leviable amount/total payroll.

 

6.5.1.1.2Skills development expenditure on black women employees as a percentage of the leviable amount/total payroll (whichever amount is applicable), with the target set at 1% of the leviable amount/total payroll.

 

6.5.1.1.3Skills development expenditure on black youth as a percentage of the leviable amount/total payroll (whichever amount is applicable), with the target set at 1% of the leviable amount/total payroll.

 

6.5.2Measurement Principles and the Application of the Charter

 

6.5.2.1The measurement principles required in the determination of the skills development score for QSEs are contained in Statement 804 of Code 800 of the Generic Code of Good Practice
