Correctional Services Act, 1998 (Act No. 111 of 1998)

Any person who obtains an appointment as a correctional official or as custody official by means of any false representation commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine, or in default of payment, to incarceration for a period not exceeding one year or to such incarceration without the option of a fine or both.
