71. Change of conditions

1)If in the opinion of the National Commissioner a change of circumstances calls for a change in the conditions, the National Commissioner may apply to the court, Correctional Supervision and Parole Board or other body which ordered the imposition of community corrections, to amend the conditions which make up the community corrections in a particular case.

 

2)When an application is made in terms of subsection (1) the National Commissioner must instruct the person undergoing community corrections to appear before such court, Board or other body.

 

3)If such person fails to appear, the National Commissioner may issue a warrant in terms of section 70(1)(a)(iii) for his or her arrest.
