137. Attendance of witnesses at and composition of board of inquiry

(1)The president of any board of inquiry convened under section one hundred and thirty-five or one hundred and thirty-six, may summon any person in the Republic, whether or not otherwise subject to this Code, to attend such board of inquiry and to give evidence thereat: Provided that no person shall be required to answer any question at such inquiry which he could not in a civil court be compelled to answer.

 

(2)The composition of boards of inquiry, the method of convening such boards and the procedure to be followed by such boards shall be as prescribed.
