9.2. Severance pay

(1) Where an employee’s services are terminated for operational reasons the employer will pay him severance pay of one week’s pay for each completed year of service with the same employer. However, where the termination is due to a plant or departmental closure or the relocation of an establishment, severance pay will be negotiated at plant level.
