1) | If a party fails to appear in person or to be properly represented at a scheduled arbitration hearing, the commissioner may act in terms of section 138(5) of the Act. |
2) | The commissioner must be satisfied that the parties have been properly notified of the date, time and venue of the arbitration proceedings, before making any decision in terms of section 138 (5). |
3) | The Commission must notify the parties if a matter is dismissed. |
