1) | Whenever it appears that the facts relating to any apprentice are incorrectly recorded in his contract of apprenticeship or have changed after the conclusion thereof and that by reason thereof prejudice is caused to a party to the contract, the training board may, if it is satisfied that it is desirable to do so, on the application of the prejudiced party and after consultation with the other party and the training committee in question, modify the terms of the contract by affixing thereto a statement setting out the correct facts or the facts as they have so changed, as the case may be, and the relevant terms of the contract as amended in pursuance of those facts. |
2) | Any such statement shall be signed by the training board and thereafter the relevant terms as set out therein shall form part of the contract of apprenticeship and the training board shall adjust its records in accordance therewith: Provided that no additional financial liability shall be imposed on any party to the contract in respect of any period prior to the date on which the statement is signed. |
