(1) | The Director-General may give, or communicate, a security direction to a maritime industry participant by facsimile or e-mail, or orally. |
(2) | A port or ship operator required to communicate a security direction in terms of regulation 32(3) or 33(2), respectively, may do so by facsimile or e-mail, or orally. |
(3) | The Director-General may also notify a person of the revocation of a security direction in terms of regulation 35(2) by facsimile or e-mail, or orally. |
