37. Offence (failing to comply with security directions)

(1)A person commits an offence if—
(a)a security direction is given to, or communicated to, the person; and
(b)the direction is in force; and
(c)the person fails, without reasonable excuse, to comply with the direction; and
(d)the failure is not a failure to comply with confidentiality requirements.

 

(2)An offence in terms of subregulation (1) is punishable upon conviction by a fine or by imprisonment for a period not exceeding 12 months.
