(1) | The operations of a foreign regulated ship must not hinder or obstruct compliance with the maritime security plan of a maritime industry participant in a way that compromises the security of the operations of the participant. |
(2) | The operations of a foreign regulated ship must not hinder or obstruct compliance with the ship security plan of a South African regulated ship in a way that compromises the security of the South African regulated ship. |
(3) | If the operations of a foreign regulated ship comapramise the security of— |
(a) | the operations of a maritime industry participant; or |
(b) | a ship, |
as mentioned in subregulation (1) or (2), the ship operator for, or the master of, the foreign regulated ship may be given a control direction under Division 2.
