34. Rights of Employees

34.1. All employees shall be protected against discrimination similarly as contemplated in sections 78 and 79 of the Basic Conditions of the Employment Act of 1997 as amended read with the necessary changes within the context of the scope of the Council and this Agreement.

 

34.2. If there is a dispute about the interpretation or application of clause 34, any party to the dispute may refer the dispute in writing as prescribed in the applicable legislation.

 

34.3. The party referring the dispute in terms of subclause 34.2.above must supply the Secretary of the Council with a copy of the referral that has been served on all the other parties to the dispute.
