(1)
(a) | The provisions of the Act with regard to the addition and removal of substances to and from spirits and the application of treatments to spirits shall apply mutatis mutandis to a distillate obtained in terms of section 12 of this Scheme, and to estate brandy consisting of such distillate or constituted from different distillates. |
(b) | A participant shall record full particulars in respect of each addition or removal of a substance to or from a distillate or the estate brandy constituted therefrom, and of each treatment applied thereto, or the applicable distillate record. |
(2) | Estate brandy shall comply with the applicable requirements set out in the Act for the classes of spirits known as pot still brandy, brandy or vintage brandy, as the case may be. |
