(1)
(a) | A participant may at any time by means of a written notice to the Authority terminate his participation in this Scheme with regard to wine virtue of an authority, of a distillate distilled from such wine, or estate brandy that wholly or partially consists of such distillate. |
(b) | A notice referred to in paragraph (a) shall be accompanied by the production sheet, wine record blending sheet and or distillate record kept in respect of the wine, distillate or estate brandy concerned. |
(2)
(a) | If the Authority is at any time satisfied that a participant has refused or failed to comply with any provision of this Scheme or a condition determined by the the Authority, the Authority may by written notice to such of person suspend or terminate his participation in this Scheme, either in general or with regard to a particular wine, distillate or estate brandy. |
(b) | A participant who has been thus notified within 30 days of the date of such notice shall return the production sheet, wine record and blending sheet and distillate record kept in respect of the wine, distillate or estate brandy concerned to the Authority. |
(c) | A suspension of participation in this Scheme in general in terms of paragraph (a) shall be valid for such period as the Authority may in each case determine. |
